November 5: The Desk, drag and drop, a sturdier phone, and a livelier Loki

New. The Desk: every project on one screen, with how many chats are working and how many need you. Open it with Alt+M or the Desk button. Cards snap to a grid and the layout is the same on every device.

New. Drag chats, History rows and files from the lists straight into a pane.

Better. Tiling shows you the way once: a small hint with a tab sliding to a half, "Drag to split" when you hover a tab, and a reminder in the Layout menu.

Better. The paw at the top of the rail is the one door to Loki on a computer. On a phone the cat sits in the list header.

Fixed. The phone layout can no longer be panned sideways. The list header tucks History, Map, Loki and Settings into a menu when the title would not fit.

Fixed. The installed phone app now picks up a new version when you come back to it.

Fixed. The Mac app is signed as a whole, so a downloaded copy is no longer reported as damaged.

Website. Ask Loki on the home page now answers with a small AI, and falls back to his notes if it is not available. It is the one place on the site that sends what you type to a server, so don't paste anything private into it.

Website. Loki is a bit alive: he pushes the mug off the table and chases a paper ball.

Website. A FAQ, three guides (phone, server, many agents) and this changelog, with a feed you can subscribe to.

New. Tabs for everything open in a project, and tiling: drag a tab to a half or a quarter of the window, pick a layout, resize the dividers.

New. Loki, Paw's cat. He is the help chat and has read the whole guide. Ask him how to do something in Paw.

New. Settings as one screen that opens over everything, from anywhere with Cmd+,: a default folder for new projects, model and effort for new chats, when idle chats sleep, notifications, voice, text size, keyboard shortcuts and about.

New. Server mode: deploy Paw to a Linux server with one script, and show that server from the Mac app in Settings. The server's Tailscale port is owner-only.

New. History: every conversation of a project, Paw chats and the Claude Code conversations you ran in that folder, with search. "Continue in Paw" carries one on.

New. Review: branches with how far ahead of main they are, a diff, comments sent to the agent, and merging.

New. Agents can now reach the project's notes, terminals and other chats.

New. Right-click menus on History, transcripts, notes and review branches, and a way to remove a project from Paw.

New. Notifications: when a long task finishes, when a chat needs you, when something goes wrong. Push on the phone, native on the Mac.

New. Paw on phones and tablets, installable to the home screen, with chats and unsent messages that survive a lost connection.

New. Voice: talk to a chat, and have answers read aloud on macOS. Speech is turned into text on your own computer.

New. A map of what happened in a conversation, a shared task list, notes with diagrams and pictures, and a Media tab for what agents send you.

New. Usage rings for your 5 hour and 7 day Claude limits, and a card with memory and CPU per awake chat.

New. Releases come with a .dmg to drag into Applications.

Faster. Long chats open on their newest 200 items and load older ones as you scroll, so a chat with thousands of messages stays smooth.

Fixed. Keys typed into a terminal before it finished connecting are queued and sent in order.

Fixed. A message sent while Claude is closing waits and wakes a new one instead of being lost.

Fixed. Dialogs are modal: focus goes in, Tab stays inside, focus goes back.
